Velvet Dining Chairs

Every chair we sell is upholstered in dense, close-pile velvet over a sprung seat, with a polished lion-head ring knocker on the back panel. Choose the wide low-backed Majestic or the tall scroll-top Lucy, in black, dark grey, mink or pink, on chrome or gold frames.

Chairs are supplied as part of a complete dining set with your choice of marble table.

Every set is sold cash on delivery: nothing to pay when you order, our crew unwraps it at the van so you can inspect it, and you pay and take your written invoice before we carry it in and assemble the table free of charge.

Our promises

Unbeatable on price. Unbeatable on quality.

Two commitments we stand behind on the day you take delivery — before any money changes hands.

Price promise

Find it cheaper and we beat it by £25

If you find the same marble dining set advertised for less anywhere else in the UK, we will not simply match the price — we will take a further £25 off ours.

Send us the link or the written quote any time before you pay your delivery crew and we will adjust the price on the spot. Same design, same size, same finish, from a UK seller with the set in stock.

Quality promise

Have it inspected by anyone you trust

Marble tops, solid hand-finished bases and chairs upholstered in dense velvet. Bring your own fitter, a furniture restorer or simply a friend who knows their materials, and have them look the set over at the van before you pay.

We have nothing to hide and no reason to rush you. If the set does not stand up to their inspection you pay nothing and our crew takes it away — that is the whole point of buying on cash on delivery.

Inspect before you pay

Inspect it at the van. Pay. Then we carry it in.

No deposit, no card details, no risk. You see exactly what you are getting before a penny changes hands.

01

Order online, pay nothing

Pick your table design, then the chairs to go with it. No deposit and no card details — we simply call you to agree a delivery day.

02

Inspect it at the van

Our own crew unwraps your set at the van and you check every piece — marble top, frame and each chair — in your own time, before anything is paid.

03

Pay, take your invoice, and we set it up

Only when you are happy do you pay the crew, and they hand you a written invoice on the spot. Then they carry it in and assemble your table free of charge.

Ordering, delivery and cash on delivery

How does cash on delivery work?

Place your order online without paying anything up front. We call you to agree a delivery day. On the day, our crew unwraps your set at the van so you can inspect every piece before you pay. Once you are happy you pay the crew, they give you a written invoice, and then they carry everything in and assemble your table.
Can you bring it inside before I pay?

Not before payment, no. Our crew unwraps the set at the van so you can inspect it properly, and once you have paid and taken your invoice they carry every piece into the room you want and assemble the table. It keeps the process simple and protects both sides.
What if I am not happy when it arrives?

Then you do not pay and you do not keep it. Because you inspect the set at the van before any money changes hands, you are never left arguing over a refund for something already in your house. If it is not right, our crew takes it away and you have paid nothing.
Do I get a receipt or invoice?

Yes. Our crew hands you a written invoice at the point you pay, showing the set, the price and the date. Keep it safe — it is your proof of purchase.
Can I have the quality checked by someone else?

Please do. Bring your own fitter, a furniture restorer, a tradesperson or a friend who knows their materials, and have them inspect the set at the van before you pay. Marble tops, solid bases and dense velvet upholstery stand up to being looked at closely — and because nothing is paid up front, you are free to walk away if they are not satisfied.
Is table assembly really free?

Yes. Once the set is paid for, our delivery team assembles your marble table in the room you want it at no extra cost, and takes all the packaging away with them. There is nothing for you to build and nothing to dispose of.
Where do you deliver, and how long does it take?

We deliver free across mainland UK using our own two-person crews rather than a parcel courier. We will confirm your delivery window when we call to book your slot.
Can I mix a table design with different chairs?

You can. Pick the table shape you like, then choose any chair design to go with it. Because we hold the largest range in the country, almost every combination is available.
How do I look after a marble top?

Wipe spills quickly with a soft damp cloth, use mats under hot pans, and avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon. Treated properly, a marble top outlasts the room around it.
